Autumn was born Brittany Jayne York on October 17, 1977 in New York, New York. After her mother died when she was seven, she and her father moved to Newport Beach, California, where Brittany was a swimmer and even considered making swimming her life. After her graduation in 1995, Brittany earned a swimming scholarship to attend Middlebury College in Vermont. Surprisingly, Brittany turned it down, hoping to become a dancer in the Los Angeles area. She moved to Hollywood. Within months, she was homeless and living in her car. She got a job at the Venus Strip Club in Van Nuys, California (the capital of porn) where "Penthouse" scouts spotted the cute blonde and offered her a spread.
