I was born in Southern California and lived in a small town called Yucaipa. Being the baby of six children, I've always had plenty of love, attention and entertainment. We lived on a small farm with horses, chickens, rabbits, a cow we used to milk and a bull we used to tease. After high school, I attended the University of California, Riverside, and graduated with a degree in Fine Art. I took my first art class during my freshman year in college and decided that I liked doing art. I did a lot of multi-media art as well as performance art and became a hemp activist on campus in my own little way. I received the chancellor's performance award and was on the Dean's list many times (oooh what a smarty!). I received a grant from the Art Department to do a multi-media installation on Hemp and it's rich history. This installation included video footage of Jack Herer, "Hemp for Victory", clips from "Reefer Madness", and interviews with the student body and the professors at UC RIVERSIDE. Due to the success of the art installation on hemp, I was asked to be the chairperson for NORML (National Organization for Reformation of Marijuana Laws). I debated doctors on local "Drug and Alcohol Awareness" cable programs, about the medicinal aspects of hemp. I created what I call "Hemp Fairies", which consisted of my girlfriends and I dressed in pot-leaf body suits, spreading hemp seeds, joints and sensuality at hemp rally's and protests. The "Hemp Fairies" were a sexy alternative to the "angry" protester. I sold weed on a regular basis to my professors in college as a means of income; it felt as though I was doing a great public service and learning good business skills at the same time. After college, I moved to San Francisco and started dancing. This was the best move for me since I have natural exhibitionist tendencies and love to dance. Dancing has been very rewarding and fulfilling, mainly because of where I dance, The Mitchell Bros. O'Farrell Theatre in San Francisco. Being at the O'Farrell Theatre has helped me in a number of personal and professional ways and is extremely supportive of my activities as a hemp activist. The theatre supported me in creating a show called the, "History of Hemp Sextravaganja". It was an X-rated show that illustrated the history and many uses of hemp. All costumes were made of hemp and it had a happy ending. Most recently, I was invited to give a lecture on hemp and marijuana, at U.C. Berkley. It was for a political science class and Chris Conrad assisted me. Together we covered all aspects of the plant and, gave a great pro-cannabis presentation. The students were appreciative, and it felt good to speak on this subject in a respected institution. I have had a lot of help and support from Penthouse Magazine, HighTimes magazine, and the O'Farrell Theatre, and will be the first to say I couldn't have done it alone! What else can I say? Life is Great! I love Life, I love to paint and create. I love to travel, and dance, and celebrate often. I'll try just about anything at least once. Most of all, I just want to have fun! Lot's of Love, Jasmine. BIRTHPLACE: Redlands, CA. EDUCATION: Redlands High School, UC RIVERSIDE, California. Received a bachelor's degree in Fine Art. PURPOSE OF LIFE: The purpose of my life is to smile and to celebrate and be a source of inspiration for myself and others. TURN ONS: Positive people, open minds, jazz music and musicians, good dancers, hard bodies and beautiful women. I love having sex out in the wild, especially on a sunny day, and sleeping under the stars. TURN OFFS: Racism, insecurity, violence, litter bugs, and the "War on Drugs." FAVORITE FOODS: Anything made with Hemp, Sushi, spicy Indian food, and mangoes on a naked body. Yummmy. IF I COULD, I WOULD: Re-Legalize Hemp in the United States, end the War on Drugs, and set free anyone serving time in prison for drug-related, non-violent charges. I would build rooftop gardens on every building in San Francisco and hemp huts for the homeless. I would also make teaching one of the highest paid professions. While I'm dreaming, I might as well mention that I'd love to fly on a giant stalk of celery and ride on the back of a whale around the world. close Jasmine Raff bio
